Meet Our Regional Manager
We at TuffWrap® would like to welcome Brett Johnson to the team. He will not only be one of our newest regional managers, but he will be the first regional manager of our new Canadian company: TuffWrap Canada ULC.
How many years in the industry have you had? I have 20 years of experience in the industrial & construction sectors.
What were you doing before TuffWrap? I was recently the Principal at ScaleUp, a business consulting firm that assisted Canadian manufacturers with marketing, operations and sales. Prior to founding ScaleUp, I held senior roles with GE and Accenture where I assisted in the introduction of new innovations for utilities and general contractors.
Why are you excited to be a part of TuffWrap? I am excited to be a part of what I envision to be a robust growth period for TuffWrap in the Canadian market. From what I have seen, there are significant opportunities to serve the Canadian facilities of our US-based Fortune 1000 clients in food & beverage, pharmaceuticals and aerospace.
If you had the power to have the skills of any animal, what animal’s characteristics would you want and why? There’s been an active Eagle’s nest on my property for 10 years and I have come to admire the adult pair as they built their large nest and have raised 1-2 eaglets each year. They are strong, resilient and tenacious. These traits are critical to creating a life that brings value to your family, your clients and your community.
What is your philosophy on hard work? My mother is a Mennonite and she passed along to her three children that it is “good for the soul” to strive to achieve goals with intention, perseverance, integrity and dependability. I have learned to truly enjoy seeing a job well-done, whether it’s a freshly cut lawn, a kitchen renovation or navigating a family of five through Disney World.
What do you like to do in your spare time? In the winter, I enjoy snowboarding, in the summer, I enjoy ATVing.
We are excited to not only have Brett on the TuffWrap team, but for him to assist us in bringing TuffWrap to the “Great White North.”
